History
The Service League of Battle Creek was organized December 3, 1935. In 1948, the
Service League became the Junior League of Battle Creek when it joined the
Association of Junior Leagues International, a federation of over 296
leagues in the United
States, Canada, Mexico, and
England.
The Junior League
of Battle Creek has contributed more than $558,300 to the Battle
Creek Community since 1935.
The Junior League
of Battle Creek consists of over 250 active and sustaining members.
Its members serve on many community boards and agencies.
The Junior League
of Battle Creek reaches out to all women (regardless of race, religion, or
ethnicity) who demonstrate an interest and commitment to voluntarism.
The Junior League
has an Endowment Fund at the Battle Creek Community Foundation to ensure
the continuity of the Junior League organization and to sustain our
